CNS Systems AB Acquires ICAN

John’s, NL – June 27, 2008 – C.N.S. Systems AB (CNS)
of Sweden has acquired International Communications and Navigation Ltd.
(ICAN) of Canada from HITT N.V. of the Netherlands.
Both CNS and ICAN are providing the international maritime market with
Communication, Navigation and Surveillance solutions.
So far CNS has had its main marine business in Automatic Identification
Systems (AIS) deliveries such as Ship borne, Airborne and Shore Station
systems whiles ICAN has provided a large number of different Electronic
Chart Systems solutions and AIS related software applications.
The combined knowledge of the two companies will make it possible to
serve any AIS requirement and to broaden their offer in the Communication
Navigation and Surveillance area.
