VDL
6000/FASS Repeater Station

|
VDL 6000/FASS Repeater Station fulfils all the requirements of
international AIS standards and provides all the features required for
extended vessel traffic surveillance. Long-range, low power consumption
and alternative power sources drastically limits the need for
infratructure investments. It is an ideal gap-filler at remote and
isolated locations. |
|
VDL
6000 Airborne AIS transponder
 |
The VDL 6000 Airborne AIS transponder is developed for aircraft
installation for use in Search and Rescue (SAR) and costal surveillance
missions. Airborne AIS transponders greatly enhances surveillance of
large areas. The localization and identification of all AIS equipped
vessels greatly increases national security, environmental protection,
and the possibility of rescuing vessels in distress. AIS-equipped
aircraft, with their high speed and extreme VHF coverage, are well
suited to be used in SAR operations. |

The AIS
Shore Station - VDL 6000/FASS
 |
The AIS Shore Station - VDL 6000/FASS fulfils all the requirements of
international AIS standards and provides all the features required for
surveillance and management of vessel traffic. It is easily configured
to the specific needs of individual customers, from a basic unit to a
fully redundant system with an embedded controller providing extensive
processing and logging functionalities. |
|
The VDL 6000
Class A system
 |
The VDL 6000 Class A system provides SOLAS compliance and
BSH-certification at very attractive prices. The data link communication
covering identity, position, destination and other required static,
voyage-related and dynamic data gives all vessels in an area increased
situational awareness and improves safety at sea for the individual
ship. Positive identification and positioning of all ships in the
vicinity reduce the unnecessary “ship on my port bow” calls. Less
information overload greatly enhances safety at sea. |

AIS RX PRO
 |
The AIS RX PRO, AIS receiver is designed to meet all the existing
requirements for AIS Base Stations but only with receive capacity. The
AIS RX PRO will help fulfill needed requirements for a port to meet ISPS
requirements. The AIS RX PRO is an invaluable tool when designing
coastal AIS coverage in terms of accomplishing high coverage and
surveillance at a affordable price since it can be used as a tool in the
planning of a AIS system to measure and verify your coverage.

AIS RX YACHT

|
The AIS RX YACHT is an Automatic Identification System (AIS)
receiver and GPS, creating a full navigation system in one unit. AIS RX
YACHT makes it possible to navigate and display all SOLAS ships with AIS
as well as several other ships equipped with AIS. |
|
SR 162 AIS RECEIVER

|
With the SR 162 AIS RECEIVER you can display any AIS equipped
vessel within VHF range on any type of AIS adapted display system.
Information transmitted from vessels fitted with AIS Transponders
include name, call sign, position, heading, speed, destination, type and
size of vessel. The SR 162 AIS RECEIVER is compatible with any chart/ECS
and radar system capable of accepting standard NMEA 0183 AIS sentences
The installation is quick and simple, requiring only the connection to a
VHF antenna, and computer (PC). SR 162 AIS RECEIVER is the perfect
complement to a radar and has an international standardized interface to
various display systems like Electronic Chart Systems (ECS) or radars. |

AIS BS410
 |
The AIS Base Station is the primary component in an AIS Physical Shore
Station (PSS), and therefore the most vital component in a coastal AIS
network. The BS410 receives and communicates AIS data from all AIS
sources (AIS Mobile stations, other AIS Base stations, AIS Aids to
Navigation units etc.) within the coverage area. The Base Station can
operate as stand alone or cooperate in a network, enabling a cost
efficient coastal surveillance system. The BS410 is designed, tested and
approved in accordance with all relevant international standards
regulating AIS infrastructure equipment. All functionality defined in
international regulations is supported. |
|
AIS 200 P is - AIS mobile station
 |
Kongsberg AIS 200 P is an “all-in-one” compact AIS
mobile station. This rugged AIS unit is designed for easy transportation
and installation on board vehicles not carrying an AIS Mobile Unit. The
AIS 200 P can run on either 230 VAC or 24 VDC and has an internal
battery backup to ensure operation in case of
temporary power failure. A built-in state of the art WLAN as well as an
external PI interface and sensor interfaces, together with the
integrated MKD, ensure easy installation and maintenance. |
L-3 Communications

|
The L-3 ProTec Automatic Identification System (AIS) Base Station
 |
The L-3 ProTec Automatic Identification System (AIS)
Base Station is a vessel traffic monitoring tool which provides
shoreside facilities with a means for monitoring vessel movements
through VHF Data Link (VDL) to shipboard AIS Transponders. The ProTec
Base Station is fully compliant with IMO requirements for AIS and IALA
recommendations for AIS shore stations and provides for both tracking of
and communicating with AIS equipped vessels within VHF range of the
tower site. |
|
The L-3 Automatic Identification System (AIS)

|
The L-3 Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a
collision avoidance tool, mandated by IMO SOLAS V, to improve the
situational awareness of the bridge crew while facilitating
communication between vessels. |
