ICAN’s 3D module integrates with the Regulus II or
Aldebaran II Electronic Charting System to
graphically display the contours of the ocean floor with superb
precision and clarity. Next generation 3D capabilities allow you to
display a number of different 3D views simultaneously, with unique
angles at varying scales.
ICAN has developed the ICAN Sounding File (ISF) chart
data format which provides the flexibility to build a database of chart
information on frequently traveled areas. Vessels equipped with a NMEA
sounder can add sounding data to existing ISF charts to ensure that you
have the most up-to-date, and accurate chart available in the world. You
have the flexibility to add and edit your own data to the powerful
Sounding Database, configure Overlays on top of 3D charts, filter
sounding data, and view 3D charts on the 2D Chart Plotter Window.
